Brookside Elementary is located in beautiful northeast Tennessee in the Bloomingdale community of Kingsport.  We serve approximately 250 students from the Orebank and Bloomingdale areas. Each of Brookside's classrooms are equipped with a small computer lab consisting of 4-6 computers.  These classroom labs give our students access to the most current learning tools, via the internet.  Student computers also have access to several networked software programs.  In addition, we have a computer lab located in our workroom with twenty new Dell computers and a SMART board.  Each classroom is assigned times to use the computer lab.  In addition to daily classroom use, the lab is used for tutoring in an effort to enhance learning opportunities in reading/langauge arts and math.
